We are working on a wedding for a lovely young couple. They are full of spirit and style. Love them! First event is their engagement party next month. The color direction for all of their events is:

The theme is: Perfect Pair (Pear)

So we have been working with them to set the vision, style for the entire affair as well as their invitation suite. They like vintage modern style, they want their events to evoke a casual, yet elegant mood. They want to use
the pear theme as a small detail accent element of the stationary design – not the main focus or the pear accent could be worked into other paper stationary like the escort cards and not in the main invite. The Bride also likes green lattice patterns detail like this:

Sounds like a challenge right? But as always we are up for it! So we met with one of our favorite stationary designers Stephanie to discuss their wedding stationary needs and most importantly brainstormed ideas to meet the need. We reviewed paper samples, did a little online shopping :-), decided on paper stock, shared a few laughs, reviewed pricing, plotted out the timeline and discussed invitation accents.  Stephanie came back with nine options of three different styles to present to the Bride and Groom. We are excited to share four of them with you!

Please note, phone number and home address have been purposely removed from the invitation layouts below.

First up - Simple Vintage Frame Border with Embellishments

Second option - Lattice detail with vintage plate

And the winner is...the fourth option - Abstract pear detail

So now that we have a decision on the engagement party invites, we are off to finish all of the big and small details for Lauren & Brandon's engagement party, wedding and reception.
