Saturdays are our favorite day of the week. It is our favorite day to relax, rewind as well as accomplish our event to-do lists. It is traditionally the most popular day of the week to get married. Saturday nights are also the busiest and best night for fundraisers and in large cities especially landmark galas. Accordingly to Saturdays are also the best day of the week to shop at a department stores.  With all of these Saturday quick facts, we decided to name one Saturday of each month “Savvy Saturdays” in which we will share festive tips, DIY projects or inspirations.

This Savvy Saturday we selebrate…..

Well-design dessert displays

Amethyst and cranberry pops of color, textures and servers of varying heights will captivate guests as shown in this holiday themed Crate & Barrel dessert buffet. We are inspired by the use of traditional servers and contemporary shaped sculptural glass jar as the foundation for dramatic displays.  The festive color scheme is tied together seamlessly throughout the choice of desserts and decorative accents.  Kudos to Crate & Barrel for this tablescape inspiration! We hope the dessert buffet trend continues as we can truly envision how they can stylishly be used for birthday parties, holiday events, showers, weddings and more.

October 9th was a perfect weather day for Isabella’s ladybug birthday bash. The garden party was accented by all things a little lady turning two years old would need to celebrate with her family and friends.

Savvy Selebrations wanted to create a memorable to event for Isabella with all things girly using a color scheme of black, hot pink with white and green accents.

We love the color pop of this ladybug themed party and had so much fun throughout the planning process. The introduction to the event was set with the playful ladybug invites customized by Savvy Selebrations.

The d├ęcor that greeted arriving guests were pink, white and green balloons at the entrance and throughout the event. Little ladybugs, terracotta flower pots, butterfly cupcakes, garden party tea sandwiches, ladybug antennaes for guests and party favors set the mood for the outdoor affair. LC from SweetCrush Shop was kind enough to prepare these edible party favor treats to match the decor and color scheme. She prepared a number 2 and ladybug almond flavored cookies that we displayed in terracotta flower pots. How cute are they?

The parents loved the food and details, and the kids loved the ladybug antennae that adorned the head of each child guest (the parents wore them also!). Here are a few our favorite shots from the event.
